To repair the fault described in Part 1, the overall process can be summarised as follows.
Important safety note: Always unplug the garage door opener before removing any covers or touching the circuit board. If you are not confident working with electrical components, ask a qualified technician for assistance.
1. Remove the rear panel containing the main circuit board. First, disconnect the opener from the mains power supply by unplugging its power cord. The rear panel containing the main circuit board will need to be removed from the opener.
2. Remove the three screws. As shown in the picture below, remove the three screws located on the back of the opener(Red Circles). See the picture below.

3. Disconnect the cables from the circuit board. Once the rear panel has been opened, disconnect the main power cable and the signal cable marked in red from the circuit board. A flat-head screwdriver can be used carefully to release the main power cable connector more easily. See the picture below.

4. Separate the circuit board from the plastic panel. After completely separating the rear panel from the opener, remove the circuit board from the plastic panel. The components that need to be replaced on the circuit board are:
4 x relays: (SMI-24VDC-SL-A or SMI-24VDC-SL-C), One capacitor(1000 µF, 35 V, ± 20% Radial Leaded, 10000 hours @ 105°C, Polar).
Their locations are marked in the picture below. See the picture below.


5. Replace the components and reassemble the opener. After removing the circuit board, replace the components listed above. Reinstall the circuit board, reconnect the cables and reassemble the opener. The repair is now complete!
